Hello! We’re glad you’re here!
Lauren Brennan, LICSW
I believe we can all work towards more joyful lives, and I'm passionate to support you in your pursuit of meaningful change. I am especially interested in the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how self compassion, cognitive defusion, and mindfulness can assist to bring you some clarity and peace. I work with individuals with a variety of different life experiences and concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, perinatal mental health, stress, and trauma. My therapy style most often incorporates self-compassion practice, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just like a bit of a mystery to yourself, I’m glad you’re here. I believe therapy should feel less like a clinical appointment and more like a curious exploration of your inner world. I aim for a warm, honest, and wholehearted approach- conversations where you can kick off your shoes, be yourself, and not worry about being "too much" or "too messy." My experience over the past decade has been across settings including hospital, crisis response, in-home, and outpatient therapy supporting adolescents, adults, and families.
I am a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, and what that really means for us is that we won’t just treat symptoms; we’ll get curious about the different parts of who you are. We all have those inner voices—the one that’s a perfectionist, the one that’s scared of being rejected, or the one that feels like it has to take care of everyone else. Instead of trying to "fix" or suppress these feelings, we’ll create a supportive space to understand why they’re there. I’m here to help you navigate the complexity of your human experience with a lot of kindness and zero judgment. My style is informal, deeply empathetic, and grounded. I bring my authentic self to our sessions, including a bit of humor and a lot of heart. We’ll work at your pace to help you feel more centered, less conflicted, and more at home in your own skin.
When I’m not in the office, you can catch me at a local work out studio lifting heavy weights, chasing my kids around, and like to say that exchanging recipes is my love language. I’m a human first and a therapist second, and I honor the courage it takes to show up for yourself. If you’re looking for a soft place to land and a partner to help you sort through life’s complexities, I’d love to connect. I am currently taking new clients ages 15-40 for both individual outpatient therapy and family therapy. My specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, gender and sexual identity exploration and gender affirming care, challenging family dynamics, and psychoeducation/exploration of neurodiverse identities.

Therapy can be difficult to start, or even resume, but I'm glad you are here! Within the therapy setting I create a welcoming environment by taking on a person centered approach, utilizing empathy, challenging you when appropriate, and using humor at times. I truly believe you are the expert of your life and experiences. I am here to walk with you to explore and navigate areas that may be a little difficult for you to do on your own. My specialities within the therapy setting include depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I utilize CBT, DBT, IFS, and EMDR within the therapy setting to help alleviate symptoms you are experiencing.
Jenn Lindsay, LPCC
I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, and body image concerns. My goal is to help individuals gain insight into their symptoms and the root causes behind them. I assist clients with learning skills and resources to manage distress and ultimately hope to help them live a life without mental health symptoms as a barrier.
I believe in the importance of the therapeutic connection and meeting clients where they are. I take a whole person approach and use a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens. I pull from several different techniques including dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and sensorimotor psychotherapy to help clients manage their symptoms. I also enjoy integrating Christian beliefs into therapy for clients who desire this.

Many people carry the weight of trauma, anxiety, or depression for years, often quietly, putting up a mask to the world that “everything’s fine.” If that feels familiar, know that you’re not alone — and healing is possible. My role is to hold a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you can finally set some of that weight down, sort through it, and move toward the life you want.
Hi, I’m Kelsey and I specialize in helping adults (ages 18-60+) who are working through trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions. My approach incorporates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic therapy interventions, mindfulness/meditation practices to support both emotional healing and practical coping skills. Together, we’ll work on grounding skills and tools that help you cope, and carefully wade into the patterns keeping you stuck and how we can begin to shift them so you feel more grounded, present, and empowered in your life.
As a therapist, my style is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership - you set the pace and decide what we need to focus on, and I walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, a little humor, and therapeutic tools that may help. My hope is to create a space together where all parts of you are honored and respected, and we are able to help your authentic self lead your life again.
I am licensed to provide telehealth sessions in Minnesota, Illinois, Washington, D.C., Maine, and Michigan. I also offer in-person therapy in Minneapolis, MN for those who prefer face-to-face sessions. I accept most major insurance plans and also provide self-pay options.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but reaching out is a powerful act of courage and self-love. If you’re ready to begin working together, I invite you to call or email me today. I respond promptly and would be honored to support you.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a 2nd grade bilingual teacher in Chicago and abroad in Colombia, South America. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga, live music, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones including my partner and my dog.
During my years in practice, I have developed an understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of each individual and family that I have helped. I believe we all develop patterns regarding how we think, deal with emotions, and relate to the people in our lives. Often these patterns have served us in the past. However, during times of stress, loss, or traumatic experience, these patterns may be unhelpful, and we can feel stuck. This is when therapy can make a big difference in feeling better and helping us live more effectively. I utilize strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy in my work with clients. My work is informed by attachment theory and the impact of trauma on how we experience ourselves and the world around us. I seek to understand your experience, your strengths, your challenges, and your values so that I can use my experience, skills, and training to help you move forward.

As a therapist, I believe in person-centered care. I seek to create space for my clients that is safe, trusting, and affirming. I view my work as a therapist as being collaborative in nature and I feel honored to be a part of your journey of growth, healing, or self discovery. I firmly believe all of my clients should feel empowered to be experts of themselves.
I take pride in being authentic with my clients. I have a background in Art Therapy and like to incorporate creative expression into sessions if clients are interested. I have worked with a variety of clients including adults, adolescents, and children. In addition to working as a licensed therapist, I am NEDA proficient providing an emphasis on work in grief, loss, and end of life topics.

Looking for a therapist can be an overwhelming, exhausting, and intimidating process. In our culture of immediately prescribing labels, seeking individual success, and grappling privately with internalized criticism, it can be hard to know where to begin or which therapist might be the best fit. I provide a nonjudgmental, trauma-responsive, client feedback-informed, and harm reduction-focused approach to my work.
As a queer person, I recognize the interconnected impacts of heterosexism, religious trauma, and the overlapping forms of outgroup exclusion experienced by many bisexual and queer-identified individuals.
I generally incorporate principles from Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into my practice. Coming from a social work lens, I recognize that individuals are simultaneously experts of their own lived experience and also are often responding to the power structures in which they live with coping mechanisms that have best ensured their survival throughout their lives.
I am committed to remaining feedback-informed, racially and culturally responsive, body-positive, sex-positive, and dedicated to centering personal autonomy.
