Insurance and Payment

Insurance

Please contact us to discuss which of our therapists are in network with your specific insurance plan. We work with several common insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Optum, UnitedHealthCare, Medica, UMR, UCare, Medical Assistance, Surest and more. Please confirm with your insurance company that your therapist is in network. You can also email a photo of your insurance card, along with your date of birth (and subscriber’s date of birth), to lauren@solsticetx.com if you’d like us to look up your insurance coverage.

Payment

We accept credit card and HSA card payment via the online portal. We require that a card be on file in our secure online portal, and your card is charged automatically when insurance processes your claim and provides us the amount you are responsible for. For private payment, your card is charged the day of session or during the week after your session.

Private payment sessions are $150 for a 55 minute session.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, or intake coordinator Lauren Brennan (lauren@solsticetx.com, 612-429-7042), for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
